Loneliness is a tool that the devil uses to bring the people of God into sin and condemnation. The spirit of abandonment is alive and well in the world that we live in. The problem is, the spirit of abandonment doesn’t stop at your emotions. What the enemy does is use toxic emotions combined with our own words to afflict us in the physical. At the very heart of it, the spirit of abandonment causes self hatred which causes our bodies own immunities to turn against us. It is a vicious cycle that ONLY Jesus can break. The Bible tells us that “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” It is the truth of God’s love that breaks this spirit’s power.
